Feeding
Oaten or Rye Grass Hay should make up 75% or more of your Rabbit or Guinea Pigs diet. The remainder can be fresh fruit and vegetables or even a small amount of our Alfalfa Hay as a treat. Allow for permanent access to fresh Grass and/or Oaten Hay.
Storage
Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

A lot of long and green stems of hay, better than the ones bought from pet store, though it contains more hay dusts than I originally expected. It is also very compressed, a bit difficult to take out the hay from the box. But overall, it is nice and my bun loves it.

It is my first time trying Barwon oaten hay for my two very fussy bunnies. The hay came in small box so it was quite compressed or densely packed. About 90% hay looks green and fresh. I am testing out if my bunnies would definitely love this hay. Despite the description, I found lots of chaffs (short pieces of hay stem) in this box.
This is by far the best quality oaten hay I’ve come across. It’s less dusty and more green than all the brands available in pet stores and there are lots of long stems.
Only down side is the price quickly adds up when you have multiple rabbits and need to buy multiple boxes every 2-3 weeks (hence only 4 stars)
I wish there were bigger size options that were more cost effective and made buying a little easier on my bank account though because 1 box (3kgs) only lasts my buns 1 week max so it’s quite expensive for me.
